It was an honour to be invited to join Her Excellency Nimisha J. Madhvani, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Uganda to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (also accredited to the republic of Ireland); On the Occasion of the 60th Independence Anniversary of the Republic of Uganda.

This was a high-profile (invite only) event graced by th U.K business delegations, and senior governement officials from the U.K governement

Uganda and the United Kingdom continue to enjoy a strong relationship based on shared values and interests

I had a rare previlige to be hosted by the High Commissioner of Uganda to Malaysia, H.E Amb. Oyela Betty Bigombe, in the company of some of my immediate family members.

We shared reflections on Nothern Uganda's conflict history, in addition to the largely untapped potential of foreign-based young professionals in promoting Uganda's interests abroad.

The High Commission is one of Uganda's most strategic foreign missions and is also accredited to the 

Kingdom of Thailand, the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of Indonesia, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Republic of Cambodia, Brunei Darussalam, and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar
