Africa Clean Air Forum, Pretoria 2026

The forum is an annual convening organised by the Africa Clean Air Network. It is a regional platform for knowledge exchange and fostering collaborations on evidence-driven clean air actions in Africa. This year's forum attracted participation from over 47 countries and was formally opened by the South African Deputy Minister of Environment. The four-day forum featured several topics, including data-decision pathways, investment for clean air, community engagements and air quality monitoring and data infrastructure (earth observation, sensing, machine learning and modelling, and science-policy collaborations.
